Jo and I have been researching our family histories for about the last two years and have both become quite addicted to it. Jo has some ancestors who emigrated from Germany and we both have ancestors who came to Australia from England in the 1800's.
My Great Grandfather came from Helperthorpe in Yorkshire. The main names I'm researching on the
Esh Page are Esh (Yorkshire), Frith (Buckinghamshire), Stephens (Somerset), and Lovell (Yorkshire).Jo's Great G.G.G Grandfather James Jeffery Snr. left the village of Arkesden in Essex in 1856 with two of his three surviving children. He was a widower and came out as an assisted migrant. The Jeffery family along with Wedlock and Judd families helped pioneer the Macleay River area in northern New South Wales, now known as the city of Kempsey. The primary names she's researching on the
